iMatter March Media Advisory

Youth Lead Climate Justice March September 28, 3:30 pm
Halifax Mall, Raleigh

On September 28, North Carolina youth and youth supporters will gather at Halifax Mall in Raleigh to speak up against climate injustice.  We will ask our leaders to make choices that will protect the planet we will inherit.  The event will include:

  • A march around the Capitol and Legislative Buildings
  • Remarks from youth leaders and climate advocates
  • Opportunity to sign a declaration asking leaders to protect the planet
  • “Save the Planet” crafts with the Scrap Exchange
  • Food drive for the Urban Ministries Food Pantry
  • Music
